Thursday evening, July 15, the Dark Skies organization and the Sangre Stargazers Club are jointly sponsoring a star party where the public is welcome to view the crescent moon, Saturn, and many other astronomical objects. Local amateur astronomers will have several telescopes set-up across the intersection from Cliff Lanes at the west end of Main Street at 9:00 p.m. Back-up date in case of bad weather is Saturday, July 17, at 9:00 p.m.
Additional telescopes & binoculars are always helpful for the public star party. If you can bring one, please contact Ed at the address below:
